Director Rob Neilsson is filming
Firebreak in San Francisco with David in the lead
role of Aldo Modesco - a jazz musician who along with 6 friends, was caught
in the Oakland Fire and lived to tell about it. It's a "one-take" film that's
part of a series called Nine at Night, which is a regularly featured
event at the yearly Mill Valley Film Festival. The last episode called Theater
is scheduled to film in August 2005, with David reprising his lead role.
Ulli Lommels' Zodiac Killer
and Zombie Nation have both been released on DVD. David had a lead
role in Zodiac Killer and a cameo in Zombie Nation, check it out!
Scheduled to begin filing in Europe
this fall, is a Showtime series on the stories of Edgar Allen Poe. David
is playing Poe's benefactor and uncle, Mr. Allen.
It looks like David will be spending
a lot of time in Europe this fall due to his filming schedule and is considering

Currently in negotiation for BBC
TV is a series called The History of Torture, if it gets picked up,
David would be the narrator. They plan to film globally.
News on the kids: David's sons
Jesse and Bo, are performing in the San Francisco area under the moniker
HB. (for Hess
Brothers) Look for their debut CD release by
end of Summer.
Daughter Sara has joined the Alonzo King Lines professional ballet school
in San Franciso, and will be performing with the San Francisco Ballet Company
at the end of August.

Welcome to the official web site for David Hess
- best known for his starring roles in films such as Last House on
the Left, Swamp Thing and Hitch Hike -
and as the two-time Grammy winning songwriter of such hits as I Got
Stung (recorded by both Elvis and The Beatles), Speedy
Gonzales, Frankie & Johnny, and lots more!
Ironically, while David may be most known to
today's fans for his numerous roles in especially horrific horror movies,
he is in fact a pretty down-to-earth and happy- go- lucky guy! He's a
devoted family man with a wonderful wife of 25 years named Gina, and
three beautiful and talented children, Sara (who has inherited her mom's
love of dance) and Jesse & Bo (their two sons who are both musicians).
David's an avid athlete - He's a Rugby player, has a black belt in Shaolun,
practices Yoga, and enjoys ski trips with his entire family.

Roth's hit film,
"Cabin Fever"!
